Alyssa Friedman is a detail-oriented criminal defense attorney with more than a decade of experience handling a diverse range of criminal cases, including murder charges, serious drug offenses, sexual assault cases, DUI and serious traffic offenses.
Before joining the team at Craig M. Kadish & Associates, LLC, she worked at other prestigious criminal defense firms including Warnken, LLC, The Law Offices of Richard M. Karceski, Client First, LLC, and Zirkin & Schmerling.
Ms. Friedman earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2008, and possesses an undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College.
Some of her many accomplishments include:
- Serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Joseph Murphy, Jr. on Maryland’s highest court, the Court of Appeals
- Practiced as an attorney at the Social Security Administration where she served as an Attorney Adviser to the Appeals Council.
- Participating in the Appellate Practice Clinic where she argued before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
- Successfully completed training for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) as part of the DWI Detection and Standard Field Sobriety Testing Student Course — the same training received by police officers.
