Anne Arundel County Teen Arrested for Burglary

It is important to fight the charges or work out a deal that limits the impact of burglary charges.

“Burglary is entering a building with the intent to commit a crime such as theft, assault or destruction of property. Even if nothing is taken or damaged, merely entering a home, business or abandoned property without permission is illegal.”

A 16 year old boy was arrested with connections with burglary at a Curtis Bay home. Officers were called to 7800 block of Harbor Drive for a report on monday. In the report, the woman explained to police that she saw a man inside the home and the homeowner confronted the suspect. The boy then ran away. Police found the person matching the description in the 800 Block of Hilltop Road. They detained him and later officially identified him as the man who entered the home.

“Police said a 16-year-old boy, who was not identified, was charged on a juvenile citation with numerous crimes, including burglary and theft from automobile.”
